Asus eee Laptops

asus eee notebookAsus Eee PC is a sub notebook produced by Asus. Easy to learn, work and play. 7″ compact design. Weight only 0.92 kg. 512MB RAM. 4GB SSD*. 7″ LCD display. Durable, shock proof, solid state design. Rich network and wireless connectivity. The ASUS Eee PC is a ’sub-notebook’ designed by ASUS and Intel.

For around $499, this Asus notebook is  enough to do almost every day task: browsing the internet, email and online chatting, playing music videos and as word processing.  You don’t get a full sized screen: the Eee PC’s bright display is a mere 18 centimetres across. The rest of the machine is similarly downsized, from the keyboard to processing power. The result is the most portable computer we have ever seen.  Because its small, then the battery life is not very long as well. Asus battery can last up to 3.5 hours battery life.

ASUS plans to launch the second generation Eee PC along with Windows XP versions in March of 2008. The company will also launch multiple SKUs of the first generation (and second generation) Eee PC with Sprint-backed Wi MAX. Finally, ASUS is planning to release a desktop-based Eee PC, but the company remained tight-lipped about those plans.

I buy it because i just cant believe that the price is so cheap. My only complain is the 7 inch LCD is too small for me. but its very handy because its not heavy and you can carry it without feeling like you carry a notebook.
I’ve been traveling with this new asus notebook as a replacement of my other old heavy acer notebook.
